Our Projects

Thomas Foods - Jordan Plumbing

We were contracted by Jordan Plumbing to manage all trenching and backfill operations for the new Thomas Food project at Murray Bridge, a Tier 1 BADGE site. For this high-profile project, we utilized our new 25T excavator to excavate and install several 10-meter-deep concrete pump stations, executing the work in 1.5-meter benched layers to ensure safety throughout the installation. Our trenching work extended up to 4.5 meters deep and 2 meters wide, and we implemented shoring boxes to provide secure working conditions for the plumbers within the trench.

To further enhance safety, we employed a remote-control vibrating roller, eliminating the need for workers to be inside the trench during compaction. Throughout the project, we meticulously followed trenching plans to minimise the wastage of backfill material, ensuring both efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Achievements:

Key achievements on this project include our successful collaboration with all stakeholders on a Tier 1 construction site, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow throughout. We were proud to be part of the development of a state-of-the-art food processing facility, contributing to a project that will serve as a benchmark for the industry.

Additionally, this project provided us with the opportunity to upskill our staff's trenching abilities, meeting the site's demanding excavation requirements and further enhancing our team's expertise in detailed and complex earthworks.
