Shed Pad Construction - Balaklava
We completed a 10,000sqm cut and fill for a shed pad, finishing with a 200mm cap layer of limestone rubble crushed onsite. The surface was expertly watered, graded, and rolled to achieve optimal compaction. Fire water storage tanks were installed, and stormwater pipework was laid to capture rain runoff efficiently from the shed. Additionally, a remote suction system was implemented between the tanks, enabling efficient boom spray filling, further enhancing water management and operational efficiency.
Key Achievements:
A key achievement was the successful execution of our first large-scale earthmoving project utilizing advanced machine control and set-out technology. This innovation significantly improved precision, efficiency, and project timelines. Additionally, we crushed material directly onsite, reducing transportation costs and environmental impact while providing high-quality material for construction.
