Poultry Farm - Port Wakefield
We successfully crushed 1,500 tonnes of stockpiled excess rock from an old cut and fill into a 30mm road base. This material was then used to construct separate driveways into the poultry farm, improving biosecurity by providing distinct access points.
The process involved using our 25T excavator to raise the material for crushing, while our loader was utilized to efficiently load trucks for transport. This project not only recycled excess rock but also enhanced the farm's infrastructure and biosecurity measures.

The Portafill Impact Crusher is small yet versatile, capable of producing unclassified products ranging from 20mm to 75mm in size. It is equipped with a recirculating screen that helps prevent oversized product, ensuring consistent material output. The crusher is fitted with Load Rite belt scales, allowing for precise recording of materials crushed for accurate reporting and tracking. Additionally, its compact design and the new quad-axle float make it easy to transport, enhancing mobility across job sites.
The Portafill Screening Plant is used to sort materials into three different sizes, making it ideal for projects that require specific size aggregates. It can also screen sand, ensuring that it meets the necessary standards for safe backfill use. Both pieces of equipment work seamlessly together, offering a flexible and efficient solution for various crushing and screening needs.
