This project was a 5 shed poultry farm expansion, on an already existing farm.
To meet the evolving construction requirements and deliver superior project outcomes, we made significant investments in advanced equipment and cutting-edge technology. Our fleet now includes and more:
- A 40-ton articulated Moxy;
- a powerful 45-ton excavator; 15-ton roller;
- a 14ft CAT grader;
- multiple side tippers;
- a 20-ton wheel loader;
- a high-capacity screening plant;
- a remote-controlled trench roller, and a 350kg compaction plate.
 
These resources enhance our ability to handle diverse and complex construction tasks with precision and efficiency.
 
We have also adopted state-of-the-art Leica GPS and UTS technology sourced from industry leaders such as CR Kennedy. This includes:
- GPS rovers for accurate mapping and 3D plan set-outs;
- A total station for precise site layout;
- Integrated GPS guidance systems for graders, dozers, and excavators.
 
The seamless integration of these technologies ensures optimal accuracy, reduced rework, and streamlined project execution, positioning us at the forefront of innovation in construction and infrastructure development.
 
This complex construction project involved bulk earthworks utilising a wide range of services within our expertise. We successfully executed large-scale cut and fill operations, moving approximately 60,000 tonnes of material with precision and efficiency. This process involved meticulous planning to achieve optimal land grading and site preparation. All hardstand and road construction were completed using onsite crushed material, providing a cost-effective and environmentally responsible solution.
 
Additionally, we undertook the construction of 2 durable and high-capacity dams, designed to meet the site's water management requirements while ensuring long-term structural integrity. A critical component of the project was the implementation of a comprehensive stormwater management solution tailored for biosecurity. This solution was engineered to prevent waterborne contaminants, manage runoff efficiently, and protect the site's operational integrity. Our holistic approach and attention to detail ensured the successful delivery of these essential infrastructure elements.
 
A priority at the beginning of the project was the installation of a new 1.5km, 125mm water mainline from the river main to the newly constructed filter system. This critical infrastructure upgrade not only improved water flow and quality but also provided the capacity to meet the farm's growing water demands. Our comprehensive approach and meticulous execution ensured the seamless integration of these essential services.
 
As part of the project, we successfully completed the installation of comprehensive plumbing and gas for the new poultry sheds. As well as the design, construct and installation of fire hydrant systems and fire water storage tanks, along with trenching for electrical systems. This included the installation of distribution pumps, filter pumps, vessels, and storage tanks, ensuring an efficient and reliable water supply system. We also integrated a water filtration and chemical dosing plant to deliver high-quality water to the birds at each farm, safeguarding animal health and operational efficiency.
